The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has recently launched a mobile app for its online skills training program, making tech-voc training more accessible to Filipinos. The TESDA Online Program (TOP) Mobile App, which can be downloaded on smartphones through Google Play Store and App Store, enhances the mobile learning experience of TOP learners and allows the offline use of its courses.
The TOP is a free, open learning environment where learners can access various tech-voc courses and training programs to gain new skills or enhance their existing competencies. It currently offers more than 141 online courses in a variety of fields such as agriculture, automotive, construction, electronics, health care services, tourism and hospitality.
What is the TESDA Online Program (TOP) Mobile App?
The TOP is a web-based platform that provides an effective and efficient way to deliver technical-vocational education and training (TVET) at the learner’s own place and time. Learners can create their accounts on the platform for free, select from over 1,000 available qualifications from different fields such as Agriculture, Automotive, Electronics, Health Care Services, Tourism, and Welding.
Note: Please be advised that the TESDA TOP Mobile App is different from the TESDA Mobile App. TOP Mobile App is an online course platform to learn new skills and eventually get a new certificate. On the other hand, TESDA Mobile App is a mobile app that contains general information about the TESDA government agency.

How to Use TESDA Online Program Mobile Application QR Code
After you’ve successfully created an account, you can easily log in to the mobile app by using either your log-in credentials or by scanning a QR Code
1. Login using your credentials – Enter your email and password when opening the app.
2. Scan QR code – Scanning a QR Code is only available when simultaneously logged in to browser. Go to the website and log in to the TOP portal and going to Dashboard>Profile >Details. At the bottom right, you can find the QR Code.
How to Access the Courses in TOP App
1. On your dashboard, you can find the courses in which you are enrolled.
2. To sign up for a new or different course, go to “Site Home” and select the course you’re interested in.
3..You can now browse the course on your phone using the TOP mobile app.
How to Download TESDA Course for Offline Use
As mentioned, you can use the TOP mobile app to access the courses even without an internet connection.
1. To download a course, open the course page you are interested in. Make sure you are already enrolled in the course you want to download.
2. To download the course, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
3. To display the downloaded activities, click “Show download options.”
4. By clicking the “Download” button, you can begin downloading the module. Please wait until the course has been downloaded in its entirety.
5. How do you know if the course you downloaded is done? It’s simple. Go to your Dashboard and scroll down. You will see a “Green cloud” icon in the module that you’ve completed downloading. If it’s green, that means the module is finished!
6.You can access your course offline, even if you don’t have an internet connection.
7. Take the pretest, read the lessons, watch the videos, and answer quizzes even when you don’t have an internet connection.
Enhancing Access to TVET with the TESDA Online Program Mobile App
With the introduction of the TOP Mobile App, learners can now download courses for offline use and sync their progress when they have internet access. This is especially helpful in rural areas where internet access may not be available or reliable.
Learners also have access to free e-books that come with each course they take—a great tool for self-learning or review purposes. Additionally, they can take exams while having their progress monitored in real time via live video streaming technology by designated assessors or examiners assigned by TESDA centers nationwide.

6. How do I know if my progress report or certificate has been uploaded?
Once you have accessed your course successfully, you will see your activity under “My Progress” tab in the dashboard. Your certificates are saved in “My Certificates” tab located in your dashboard as well. You can also access your reports from this page whenever needed.
