Qualifications

Trainees or students seeking entry into this course should have the following qualifications:

  1. Completed 10 years of Basic Education or ALS with Grade 10 Certificate.
  2. LTO student permit required for driving.
  3. Must be physically, emotionally, and mentally fit as certified by a licensed Philippine physician.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Instructor’s Qualifications

The trainer qualifications for this Emergency Medical Services NC II require the following:

  • Equivalent training/experience or accredited by any of the following: Bureau of Fire and Protection – EMS and Emergency Response Unit Foundation (ERUF), Department of Health, Philippine College of Emergency Medicine, Philippine Red Cross, Philippine Society of Emergency Care Nurses, Philippine Society of Emergency Medical Technicians
  • Must be physically, emotionally, and mentally fit as certified by a licensed Philippine physician
  • Must hold NTTC Level I in Emergency Medical Services NC II
  • No criminal record
  • With 2+ years of experience in emergency healthcare (pre-hospital care)
