Masonry NC II

The Masonry NC II course consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable them to lay concrete hollow blocks for structures and plaster wall surfaces.

Qualifications

To join this training, trainees or students should:

  • Requires National Certificate Level I in Masonry or 1 year experience in Masonry, or Junior High School Level Completer or ALS Certificate of Completion (grade 10 equivalent).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical computation and mensuration.

Masonry NC III

The Masonry NC III course teaches skills to lay bricks/blocks, plaster surfaces, install pre-cast balusters and handrails, apply special cement finishes, and repair concrete and masonry surfaces.
