How to Obtain an Assessment and Certification

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to obtain an assessment and certification for TESDA.

Step 1: Visit a TESDA Accredited Assessment Center or the TESDA District or Provincial Office nearest to your location and apply for an assessment.

Step 2: Submit the following necessary documents:

  • Accomplished Application Form
  • Self Assessment Guide, properly filled out and completed, for your chosen qualification
  • Three (3) colored passport-sized pictures with a white background, featuring a collar, and with your name printed at the back

Step 3: Pay the Assessment Fee at the Assessment Center Cashier and obtain the Official Receipt and Admission Slip.

Step 4: On the scheduled assessment date and assigned venue indicated on the Admission Slip, make sure to be present. Remember to bring your Admission Slip with you.

Step 5: After the assessment, acquire the Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) from the Assessment Center.

Step 6: Assessment passers must apply for certification at the TESDA District/Provincial Office that has jurisdiction over the assessment center/venue.

Step 7: Assessment passers will be able to claim their National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) seven (7) working days after applying for the issuance of the COC/NC.

Upon completion of this course, qualified individuals have promising career prospects in the field of Renewable/Alternative Energy. They can work as technicians, installers, or even consultants for renewable energy projects.
