TESDA Warns Public Against Fake National Certificates

TESDA has issued a public advisory warning individuals and employers to remain vigilant against the proliferation of FAKE National Certificates (NCs) and Electronic National Certificates (eNCs). TESDA emphasized that National Certificates are issued solely by TESDA and that any certificate not directly released or verified through its official channels should be considered fraudulent.

In a visual advisory released by the agency, samples of counterfeit NC and eNC documents were shown, bearing clear “FAKE NC” and “FAKE eNC” markings to help the public differentiate between legitimate and fake credentials. TESDA noted that these falsified certificates misrepresent the holder’s qualifications and violate national regulations on skills certification.

“These fake certificates not only undermine the integrity of our national certification system, but they also pose serious risks in the workplace where competencies and safety are critical,” TESDA stated.

To ensure the authenticity of a National Certificate, TESDA urges individuals and institutions to use the TESDA Registry of Certified Workers (RWAC) available through https://www.tesda.gov.ph/RWAC.

Official announcements and updates are also posted regularly on TESDA’s verified Facebook and social media accounts (@TESDAOfficial).

TESDA continues to uphold its mission to provide quality-assured and globally recognized technical education and certification for Filipino workers, both locally and abroad.
