  1. Must have completed at least 10 years of basic education or hold an ALS grade 10 certificate of rating.
  2. Can communicate verbally and in writing.
  3. Can do basic math calculations.

This list does not include certain institutional requirements like education level or work experience, which may be necessary for trainees in the TVET program.
