Qualifications

Student/trainee must possess the following qualifications:

  1. Completed High School education
  2. Possesses a National Certificate (at least NC II) in any construction trade (e.g., Masonry, Carpentry, Plumbing, etc.)
  3. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Skilled Worker, including 2 years in Lead-man roles
  4. Currently employed and/or actively involved in ongoing construction projects
  5. Proficient in both oral and written communication
  6. Capable of performing basic mathematical computations and measurements
  • Optional: Completed 2nd year of a Construction-related course (incoming 3rd Year)
  • Optional: Graduate of a Vocational Course

Instructor Credentials

  • Holder of Trainer’s Methodology Certificate (TMC) in Level I or COC1 of TM I, or any Trainer’s Training Certificate

  • Minimum of 5 years job/industry experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Preferably a graduate of Construction-Related Courses
