Qualifications

To join this course, trainees or students must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Certification in any of the following modes:
  • For WTR, NC: Holders of qualification OR for non-NC holders, certifications from the company and any established industry association with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • For NTR: Certifications from the company and any established industry association with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  1. Completion of Grade 10.
  2. Proficiency in reading and writing.
  3. Basic mathematical computation skills.
  4. Verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.

  2. High School or College Diploma
  3. Certified True Copy of Official Transcript of Records or Form 137

Instructor Credentials

The trainer qualifications for this TESDA Trainers Methodology Level I (In-Company Trainer) require the following:

a. New trainer

  • National TVET Training Certification Level I in TM I (In-Company Trainer) is a must.
  • Possess an NC in any field.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience (within the past 5 years) as an In-Company Trainer, certified by the company.

b. Existing trainer

  • Possession of a National TVET Training Certification Level I in TM I (In-Company Trainer) is mandatory.
  • An NC in any field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a TVET Trainer within the last 5 years is necessary.
